Baldwin Hills Park Habitat

The Baldwin Hills provide habitat for many plants plants and animals. See the appropriate sections of this site for additional information.

Additionally, the Baldwin Hills have been used as a class room for the National Wildlife Federation's Habitat Steward Training program sponsored by the Baldwin Hills Conservancy, and organized by Earth Systems Science. Among the other activities of this program, there are backyard habitats in communities surrounding the Baldwin Hills that have been certified by the National Wildlife federation.

About this site:

On this web site you will find information about the Baldwin Hills Park plan, geology, plants, and wildlife within the planned park, neigboring communities, and activities at the parks that already exist within the boundaries of the planned Baldwin Hills Park. This is not an official site of the park, and I ask for help from anyone that can correct any information I might post, or who has additional links or resources to suggest.
